It's Still November

But you wouldn't know it here.

The children are drawing a map of Santa's workshop.
There is a hand decorated gingerbread house wrapped and displayed.
The Christmas tree is up.
There is a stocking hanging from the mantelpiece.
Snowy has finished all his Christmas presents and they lie wrapped underneath the tree.
Biscuits have been baked and are ready to ice.

How did this happen, with a Scrooge like me for a mother ?

  1. That's too funny.
I'm assuming that the kids do all of that.
I wish it were the case in my house.
If it were up to me, we'd skip xmas all together.
Not only do I have to put up with it, but I have to do all the decorating and organizing. Maybe I'll tell my kid that if he wants xmas this year, he's gonna have to do it himself.
    Love it!

  2. Yes, they do it all themselves! I only helped with the gingerbread house...it's awesome!

  3. We've put up the tree at our house. The kids have made a wreath with plastic bags. They keep saying they're so excited and can't wait. I'm warning them that they wont be getting many presents, but their spirits won't be dampened. The joy of childhood. (The ennui of age.)
